Full disclosure. This is my first ever blog post. I know.. very un-millennial of me. If my generation had a collective consciousness that could communicate it would probably tell me how ashamed of me it was and ask me if I had blogged my breakfast yet... I haven't by the way. It's not that I'm above that or I don't make beautiful, post-worthy breakfasts, I just have a very simple see breakfast - eat breakfast policy. Maybe I'll get around to it one day. If I remember. If.
I am excited for the opportunity to share a little more of myself with my clients, members and anyone who chooses to interact with LSF and, by proxy, me. This outlet will also give me a place to share more in depth answers to questions I get most frequently about nutrition and exercise as well as share updates on what's happening in my life and the life of LSF.
My goal is to give these entries the best weekly treatment I can possibly muster and drop a new post at the end of each week. Technically any thing and any topic is fair game but, for the most part, posts will pertain to health, fitness, and overall well being. What follows will be my honest assessment and reflections on topics such as the commercialism of the fitness industry, supplement regulation (or lack thereof), applicable nutrition strategies for daily life, the nuance of exercise technique, and more!
All that brings me to this... thank you. Thank you for getting this, for your support of LSF and for being someone who takes an interest in your health and wellness. I am honored that you chose LSF as a vehicle for that interest and I hope you find my insights informative and (at least somewhat) entertaining!
